WINDTRUST featured in Euronews

The broadcast featured an interview of Michael Drachmann Haag from LM-Wind Power presenting the innovative coating system developed in the framework of the Windtrust project to prevent blade erosion. As underlined by Jens Ulrich Laursen in the video, this innovative solution could help lower maintenance costs, an issue which is particularly acute for offshore wind turbines.

The Euronews channel is available in 155 countries worldwide and according to the channel’s audience data, 11 to 13 million people usually watch the Euronews HI-Tech reportages during its broadcasting time at the television. In this way, this feature could help disseminating Windtrust’s project results to a broader public.

For more information, the broadcast is available on Euronews website.
