The National Renewable Energy Centre (CENER) is a technology centre specialized in applied research, and the development and promotion of renewable energies.

Cener

It is a non-profit company, created by the Science and Technological Ministry of Spain and by Navarre's Government.

CENER has a cutting-edge technological infrastructure, with the most modern laboratories and facilities in Europe. They will take part in the project with their Wind Energy department and Renewable Energy Grid Integration (IRE) department.
The Wind Turbine Test Laboratory is a unique facility in the world both for its size (30,000 m2) and facilities (power train test bench for WTG drive trains up to 8MW, WTG generators and converters and complete WTG nacelles up to 6 MW). The installation includes a blade test laboratory, a power train laboratory, a composite material and process laboratory and an experimental wind farm in complex terrain.
