After presenting the project’s final results in Brussels on 14 June, the WINDTRUST partners will showcase the innovative solutions developed in the framework of the project at the Scottish Renewables Onshore Wind Conference and Exhibition to be held in Glasgow on 29 June 2016.
The event takes place at the premises of the University of Strathclyde, which is a key partner of the project. As Windtrust is due to end in August 2016, this event will be the last opportunity to learn about how the European industry is working towards lowering costs for wind energy generation by improving the design of 3 key components of the wind turbine: the rotor blades, the power electronics and the wind turbine controller.
The conference and exhibition will bring together over 130 participants including government’s representatives as well as delegates from companies playing a key role on the European renewable energy market.
For further information you can visit the event webpage here or come to meet the WINDTRUST project partners at stand 6.
