Windtrust to hold final event during the EU Sustainable Energy Week

14 June 2016, 17:00 to 19:00 – Renewable Energy House, 63-65 rue d’Arlon, 1040 Brussels

On the occasion of the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2016, the Windtrust project will hold its final event on 14 June in Brussels to present its results towards enhanced cost-efficiency for European wind turbines. The event will take place at the Renewable Energy House in Brussels between 17:00 and 19:00 and include a networking reception (from 18:00 to 19:00).

The Windtrust project aimed to reduce the cost of wind energy generation by further improving the reliability of three key components of the turbine: the rotor blades, the power electronics and the wind turbine controller. During the past three years, the project partners have developed innovative technological solutions and are now ready to share their findings with other interested stakeholders.
